Thelma Rea McCain Paterson, 87

Thelma Rea McCain Paterson, 87, widow of Robert LeRoy Paterson, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Baptist Health Lexington.

She was born on May 7, 1933 in Kokomo, Mississippi to the late Reesie McCain and Jewell Lee Baker McCain.

Survivors include daughter, Darlene (John III) Webb, and son, Scott (Shelley) Paterson, six grandchildren, Heather Paterson, Megan Paterson, Ashley DalCin, Zack Paterson, John Webb IV, Abby Paterson, one great grandchild Jaylin Sherrard.

She was preceded in death by a son, Edwin Paterson and a brother, Willie B. McCain.

Graveside Services will be 2:30 PM, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Bro. Jay Webb officiating. Visitation will be 11:00AM – 2:00PM, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Betts & West Funeral Home. Interment at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Bearers will be Scott Paterson, Zack Paterson, Keith Bailey, John Webb III, John Webb IV, and Dalton Dunn.
