Jessamine County Animal Care adoption event

On Saturday, June 20, Jessamine County Animal Care and Control held an adoption event at Kroger, located at 200 E. Brannon Road, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Michaelina Livolsi, an intern for JCACC, said the shelter brought three dogs to the event, a male dog named Red and sisters Darby and Marilee, to try to get them adopted. Livolsi said there are many more animals in need of adoption at the shelter, especially a large number of cats and kittens. Visit adoptjcacc.com or visit JCACC’s Facebook page for more information on how to adopt animals or how to volunteer or donate.
