Earlier this month, Wilmore held its 21st annual Arts and Crafts Festival where residents and visitors gathered for arts and crafts, music, food, pony rides and fellowship in downtown Wilmore. The same day, the Nicholasville Fire Department held its annual Fire Prevention Open House featuring fire prevention information, a chance to meet Sparky the fire dog, a chance to tour the fire trucks, bounce houses, a fire safety house, a children’s firefighter challenge course and even a cookout with local firemen.
