Danny Lee Teater, 65, of Nicholasville, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021, in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born on September 17, 1955, in Jessamine County to the late Roland Rice Teater and his mother, Erma Josephine Brewster Teater who survives. Danny is also survived by two daughters Tami Jo (Jimmy) King and Tina Marie Teater, four grandchildren Clark Keegan and Cailyn Grace Crabtree and Brady James and Lexi Rose King; two brothers, Mike (Gwen) Teater and John Kevin Teater.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Roland “Bucky” Teater Jr., and Terry Wayne Teater.
Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2021, at Maple Grove Cemetery with David Evans officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home.

Out of respect, the family requests everyone who attends please wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines.

In lieu of flowers, any monetary donations will be used to honor Danny Teater’s grandchildren. Donations can be made at Central Bank & Trust Company.
