A driver hired to pick up and deliver arcade games for a Jessamine County store was arrested for theft after he allegedly kept the proceeds for himself.

Nicholasville Police said officers were called to As Found Arcade Machines on Edgewood Plaza Drive on Feb. 6 concerning a theft. The owner of the business said he contracted with Kenneth A. Wills of St. Louis, Missouri, to drive a truck for a week, picking up and delivering arcade games.

The owner said he gave Wills $2,000 for fuel and hotels, with the understanding he would turn in receipts, as well as about $1,100 in collected funds, when he returned.

When Wills returned, the owner said he could not produce any receipts or the money he was expected to collect. Wills then left the store, but was located at the Jessamine County Public Library.

Wills was arrested and charged with theft by failure to make required disposition of property.
