Laney Kalen Hall, 42, husband of Max Hall, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on November 24, 1981, to the late Lainey Hall and Carla Tufts. Kalen was a State Trooper with the Kentucky State Police and an active Southland Christian Church member. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Max; stepson, Austin Honeycutt (Leah); stepdaughter, Kourtni Gunvalson (Ben); adopted father, Clay Corman; brothers, Asher Hall, Jacob Hall (Corrine), and Silas Hall; as well as two grandchildren, Hank and Cal Gunvalson. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Southland Christian Church with Pastor John Weece officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, where bearers will be Josh Fite, John Sallee, Beau Brown, Hunter Rupard, Austin Honeycutt, and Mike Cassidy. Honorary bearers will be Ryan Smiley, Todd Curry, Carlton Gay, Steve Beshear, Lynn Alexander, Bruce Marshall, Greg Snyder, Josh Sato, Brett Setzer, Mike Rupard, and Eddie Jacobs. Visitation will be held the evening prior, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, at the church.
