One of Jessamine County Public Library’s librarians released her first children’s book recently titled “Minivan Mix-Up”. Juliana Gaddis (lifelong book lover and current collection development librarian) collaborated with New York Times bestselling illustrator, John Joseph (known for the Little Blue Truck series) on this title.

This book tells the story of two families with nearly identical minivans who unknowingly switch vehicles for the day when their toddlers swap key fobs. This is a charming, relatable story about finding friendship in the midst of life’s serendipitous events.

“Minivan Mix-Up” is now on the preschool nominee list for the Kentucky Bluegrass Award Program. More information can be found here: www.kasl.us/kba. Every year, KBA committees choose books for each of five nominee lists in a year-long process. This program is designed to encourage Kentucky students to read current, well-reviewed literature that reflects a variety of experiences and points of view.
