Tulsa Angeline Peters Clark, 88, widow of Thomas Jefferson Clark, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 18, 1936, to the late Pete Peters and the late Marie Riedeman Peters. She was a Mother to her kids, and a Mom to the Community. She worked for the Department of Child Welfare, where she was a supervisor over foster parenting. Survivors include her five sons, Thomas R. Clark, Charles S. (Charlene)Clark, Stephen N. (Sun Chan) Clark, Christopher M. Clark, and John V. Clark, three daughters, Bertie Frances Clark Poore, Weslea (Jim) Clark Gaskins, and Janice D. (Jimmy) Puckett, 15 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Leonard Fitch officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8:00 PM, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the funeral home. She will be buried beside her husband, Thomas, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Bearers will be Thomas R. Clark, Charles S. Clark, Stephen N. Clark, Christopher M. Clark, John V. Clark, and Kraig Koontz. Honorary bearer will be James Puckett.
