A Nicholasville man was allegedly found with a Glock 26 handgun, an AR-15 and 9.7 grams of heroin after being pulled over for running a red light and an improper turn this past weekend, according to a media release on the Nicholasville Police Department’s Facebook page.
Nicholasville police pulled over Hussein Muhi and when an officer requested Muhi’s driver’s license, he said he left it at home. Muhi allegedly gave the officer a fake name and date of birth. The officer told Muhi it was illegal to provide an officer with false information, but according to the arrest report, he gave the officer false information twice.
Muhi was then detained and finally gave the officer his real name and date of birth. Once his identity was confirmed, it was discovered that Muhi had two warrants out for his arrest.
He is charged with two charges of failing to appear in court, careless driving, disregarding a traffic light, improper turning, operating on a suspended or revoked operating license and trafficking of illicit substances.
