Ohio women arrested for attempted theft of $4,000 worth of merchandise at Nichlasville Kohl’s

Three Ohio women face theft charges for allegedly trying to steal thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from the Nicholasville Kohl’s.
Jamika Lashay Morris, Jahlinea Gaines and Lemaya Rahnae Winslow of Cincinnati were arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking or shoplifting. on Tuesday, Aug. 9. Winslow was also charged with resisting arrest and fleeing or evading police 2nd-degree (on foot).
Nicholasville police were called to the store located at 150 Kohl’s Drive regarding three women, later identified as the trio listed above, who were inside the store concealing unpaid merchandise.
The women allegedly walked into a dressing room and the merchandise in a suitcase.
When police arrived on the scene, the three women had passed the checkout lanes and attempted to flee from the store on foot.
The total price of the recovered merchandise was $4,282.78.
