The Nicholasville City Commission’s Monday meeting was a spring cleaning of sorts for the body as it updated a few pre-existing agreements and personnel policies, and announced rate changes for select city employees.

Nicholasville Fire Chief Craig Cox asked Mayor Alex Carter to sign the Basic Life Support-Medical First Response Agreement (Affiliation Agreement) by and between the City of Nicholasville and the Jessamine County Ambulance Service. The agreement is an update to a pre-existing one.

Kathy Rhineheimer, the city’s human resource manager, said she is going through old job descriptions that the city has not updated in a while and is doing a “cleanup process.” There will be multiple updates by Rhineheimer in the next few sessions.
