Cathy Lynn Brumfield, age 65 of Nicholasville, passed away on December 1, 2022. She was born on January 28, 1957, in Lexington, KY to the late Goebel Noel and Dorothy Noel. Cathy was the loving wife of Robert (Bobby), and mother to Crystal Brumfield, Sandy (Brandon) Montgomery, and Tiffany (Bryan) Davis. She was an amazing grandmother to Johnny Masters III, Autumn Masters, Harper Montgomery, Anderson Montgomery, Remi Davis, Porter Montgomery, and great-grandmother to Mavis Masters. She is preceded in death by her brother Roger Noel and brother-in-law, Billy Bablitz. She is survived by her sister Angie Bates, brother-in-law Jimmy (Debbie) Brumfield, sister-in-law Bonnie Stone, sister-in-law Judy Bablitz, and many nieces, nephews and dear family members.

Cathy called Nicholasville home and this is where she devoted her life to her husband, children, and family. She was a loving and kind woman who treasured her family, working continuously to care for everyone around her. She was thrilled to be a grandmother and spent so much time loving, caring for, and teaching her grandbabies, as well as her nieces and nephews like they were her own. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Visitation services will be held at Betts & West Funeral home in Nicholasville, KY on Wednesday, December 7th from 5:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Thursday, December 8th at 11:00 am at Betts & West. Michael Mayeaux from Southland Christian Church will be officiating the service. This will be followed with a small graveside service at the Sanders/Brumfield Cemetery at 2399 Taylor Ridge Road. Pallbearers will be Bryan Davis, Brandon Montgomery, Johnny Masters III, Mike Cooley, Zach Cooley, and Greg Hobson.
