Robert A. Abney, 74, Logansport, Indiana died Friday, August 19th, in Sheridan, Indiana.
On December 20, 1947, in Paris, Kentucky, he was born to Robert and Grace Harrison Abney.
Married to Bonnie Trainer Hayden, who survives.
A United States Army veteran, Bob was a retired mechanic and HVAC technician.
Surviving sons, Timothy (Sherri) Trainer, Thomas (Kristi) Hayden; daughters, Cathy (Larry) Popejoy, Marcie Stamper, Robin Abney, Toby Abney, Beth Martinez; brothers, Frank Abney, Ed Abney, Gilbert Abney, Tom Abney; sister, Ginny Payne; half-brother, Roy Tyre; half-sister, Sara Murphy; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Red” and Grace Abney and sister, Marcella “Cookie” Weaver.
A private family service was Thursday, August 25th, at Kroeger Funeral Home, Logansport. Burial in Logansport.
