Barbasol Championship announces free tickets for active military, teachers and veterans

The PGA Barbasol Championship announced it will continue the tradition of providing complimentary tickets to active members of the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans, community first responders, teachers, and other educators, according to a news release.

The tournament is Kentucky’s only PGA Tour event and takes place in Nicholasville July 7-10 at Keene Trace Golf Course.

“The Barbasol Championship is proud to recognize the brave and selfless service of our veterans, active-duty armed forces, and first responders here in our community. They are our heroes, one and all.,” said Darren Nelson, Barbasol Championship Tournament Director.

The Barbasol Championship will also offer military service members from any branch and first responders up to two complimentary tickets for friends and family to attend the championship on
any day, and,July 7, Military and First Responders Appreciation Day, there will be additional events planned to honor service members. A new addition to the tournament is the Galls Patriots Outpost, where active-duty members and veterans can relax, and enjoy complimentary food and beverages.

Teachers, principals, counselors, and school staff are also offered two complimentary tickets for family and friends.
