Want to play cornhole for a good cause? Here is how.
On Saturday, June 25, Nicholasville-Jessamine Co. Parks and Recreation will host a cornhole tournament at the Coolidge Building in Nicholasville to raise funds to improve the playground equipment at local parks.
Registration will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the tournament at 11.
Pre-registration needs to be completed before 10 on the day of the tournament and there is a $20 buy-in. Competitors must bring your own bags.
There will be 16 teams, done by a blind draw. For the first-place team, the reward is $175, for second-place the reward is $125, and for third-place the reward is $100.
