Charlotte A. Boone (76) passed peacefully away on 04 March 2020. She was a loving wife, a doting mother, and a friend to many. “Chocky” was the first to brighten the room with a charismatic smile and witty sense of humor. She had numerous accomplishments, but of her finest and proudest were an advocate of Saint Michael’s Episcopal church since 1968, a do-it-yourself house flipper (before it became a reality television show), a farmer / shepherd, and a steadfast supporter of numerous pet adoption shelters. She lived a life that of even that of the undertaker would miss her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Boone and survived by her children Doug Boone, wife Amy; Mark Boone, wife Hilary; grandchildren Mitchell, Megan, Meredith, and Andrew Boone. Her family will honor her with a reception on Saturday, December 18th at 11 AM at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 2025 Bellefonte Drive, Lexington. In lieu of flowers or sympathy cards, please find something that offers to others (a church or a pet shelter) and be a champion of their cause.
