JCPL is excited to introduce a new and improved way to pick up your items curbside.
You can use your JCPL account to place materials on hold for Curbside Pickup. While the library is exclusively offering no-contact services, you may also place DVDs on hold. To reserve a DVD, simply call the library and we will place the hold on your account.
When your hold is ready, someone from JCPL will give you a call to let you know. Once you’ve received that call, here’s what you do:
Download the JCPL App to your smartphone or tablet from your app store of choice. Simply search “Jessamine County Public Library.”
In the app, log in to the library account you used to place your holds.
Click the “Curbside Pickup” button.
Enter your car’s make, model and color. Then, click “On my way” and let us know how soon you plan to arrive at the library.
When you arrive, park in one of the designated Curbside Pickup parking spots at the southeast corner of the library building.
In the JCPL app, click “I’m here.”
Have your trunk or side door open and your ID or library card ready. We’ll be right out to load your items into your vehicle.
If you don’t have a smart phone, you can simply call the library when you arrive to pick up your holds. You can reach us at 859-885-3523. We hope this new Curbside Pickup procedure will save you time and will streamline the process of picking up materials from the library. We hope to see you soon!
