Wanda Carter Quillen, 92, of Wilmore, passed away Dec. 5, 2020, at her home.

She was born in Woodbury, New Jersey, on Sept. 2, 1928, to the late J. Owen and Mary Myers Carter.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Quillen.

She was a real estate agent and a farmer’s wife.

She was a member of the Nicholasville United Methodist Church.

Wanda was a beloved wife and mother as well as a wonderful cook and baker.

Surviving are three children, Mary Mims of Nicholasville, Bruce Quillen (Julie) of Nicholsville and Denise Morgan (Ron) of Burlington; seven grandchildren, Grant Mims (Tori), Allison Mims, Katelyn Quillen, Nicholas Quillen, Jonathan Quillen, Travis Morgan and Jacob Morgan, and a great-grandchild, Everly Grace Mims.

A private family service was held on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at the burial site at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
