At 3:31 a.m. Feb. 3, Nicholasville Police officers responded to a report of a person stealing items from Speedway, 415 N. Main St. According to the arrest citation, store employees confronted 39-year-old Jason Hensley of 111 Coconut Grove, who took three items from his jacket pocket, left the store and got in a gray car.

When officers arrived, Hensley got out of the car and started to run. Hensley ran through several yards before officers caught him and arrested him.

Hensley was charged with terroristic threatening, second-degree fleeing or evading police and theft by unlawful taking.
