Saint Joseph Jessamine has earned a place on the 16th Annual “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” list, which identifies and awards Kentucky’s best employers.
Saint Joseph Jessamine was recognized as one of 38 top small-sized employers, which includes businesses with 15 to 149 employees.
It was also recognized as a Best Places to Work in 2016.
The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) spearhead the annual Best Places to Work initiative. The selection process is managed by Best Companies Group and is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies, procedures and the results of an internal employee survey.
“We are honored to be named one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky,” said Dan Andrews, director of operations at Saint Joseph Jessamine. “This accolade is evidence that our employees are engaged in our mission and allow our values to continually elevate and guide their patient care. Our employees have helped make Saint Joseph Jessamine a trusted name in the community and this award is a reflection of their hard work and dedication.”
The Best Places to Work in Kentucky competition is a multi-year initiative designed to motivate companies in the Commonwealth to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence.
Studies show a strong correlation between profitability and creating a good place to work.
The initiative is based on FORTUNE magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” list.
The winner rankings will be announced at an awards dinner on Thursday, April 23, at Heritage Hall in the Lexington Convention Center.
