John was an excellent entrepreneur & carpenter, owning his own construction company for decades, where he built numerous houses in Lexington, KY,  including a Fire Station and a Library.  He was a master craftsman especially with wood working, he took pride in all he did & it showed.

John loved to hunt & did it on a yearly basis & once got a black bear on a hunting trip.   He also enjoyed bow hunting, boating & 4-wheeling.

John was one of those exceptional people, that you remembered always, it was a true pleasure & joy to just be around, one of the reasons he will be so very missed.

He did things for people out of the goodness of his heart & never boasted about it, it wasn’t his way.

John was a Christian & knew the Bible front & back & he loved to share with others his knowledge from studying under Pastor Murray, Shepherds Chapel, AK.

He was a wonderful & loyal caring son, brother, father, friend & husband.
