Kentucky Marble and Granite, a Nicholasville-based company is proud and honored to have been a part of the three-piece statue collection created by world famous artist
Ginés Serrán-Pagán for the Port of Ashland City, Kentucky, Ohio River. John Orihuela, owner of Kentucky Marble and Granite worked with Serrán-Pagán and helped design and create the vision for the pedestals.
“The Kentucky Marble and Granite team spent many days, hours and hard work completing this project with beautiful Sapien Stone marble pieces,” according to a press release from the company.
This set of statues is the largest combination of classical mythology and contemporary art in the United States. Venus is the largest female classical mythology statue in the world.
