First Southern National Bank announced the recent hire of Justin Ray, of Nicholasville, who will serve the First Southern team in a Loan and Business Development role.
Ray assumed his position Dec. 2 and will be based out of First Southern National Bank’s Nicholasville office, located at 204 Fairfield Drive.
Ray, his wife Jenny, and their four children are actively involved in the Jessamine County community through their church, Leadership Jessamine County, and various sports leagues. Ray also leads the annual Paint the Town event, hosting over 100 participants annually through community building and banner painting, contributing to the beautification of downtown Nicholasville.
“Justin a perfect fit for First Southern National Bank,” Community President Sam Lee said. “I couldn’t be more excited to have him join our Jessamine County team. With his business knowledge, local ties to the community, and work ethic, he is no doubt going to be an essential member of our team in Nicholasville.”
Ray is a lifelong resident of Jessamine County and managed Lee Tire in Nicholasville for 15 years before pursuing community service.
In 2014, Ray ran and was elected as District 1 Magistrate of Jessamine County. In addition to his duties on the fiscal court, Justin faithfully serves as a board member for the public service groups, the Jessamine County Health Department, Jessamine County Emergency and Medical Services, Jessamine County Parks & Recreation, Leadership Jessamine, and Jessamine Chamber of Commerce.
“I am so excited to be part of an organization that loves and cares for their clients, employees, and community,” Ray said. “I’m blessed to find an organization that not only fits within my family and faith values but also gives me an additional opportunity to serve my community. I look forward to what the future holds.”
