Nicholasville man arrested for public intoxication

 

Michael Rogers, 48, of 716 S. Main St. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 28 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol), according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.

While on patrol, officers observed a man on a park bench in the Performance Park of downtown Nicholasville who was slumped over and appeared to be passed out. After being awaken by officers, Rogers was described as lethargic, having pinpoint pupils and slightly slurred speech.

Rogers allegedly advised officers he lived down the street but took a walk and was too tired to get home.

Rogers was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

 

Nicholasville man arrested for public intoxication

 

Brandon Bland, 38, of 234 Imperial PT in Nicholasville, was arrested June 27 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol) according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers received a call about a man lying face down on Keene Road near St. Joseph Jessamine hospital. Bland admitted he was high on methamphetamine and admitted to relapsing and using methamphetamine the last few days.

Bland allegedly could not remember where he was walking from but stated he was headed home. Bland also told officers he knew they were following him and that was why he lay down in the grass.

Bland was described as having slurred speech and constricted pupils. He was arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

 

Nicholasville man arrested for marijuana.

 

Paul Ryan Wheeler, 34, of 320 Weslynn Way in Nicholasville, was arrested June 29 for DUI, failure to maintain required insurance, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.

During a traffic safety check point, Wheeler was observed operating on North Main Street. Upon approaching the check point, Wheeler allegedly had difficulty choosing which lane to use. Wheeler was advised to pull into a parking lot for further investigation. Upon pulling over, Wheeler allegedly hit a traffic cone and almost hit an officer.

Upon exiting the vehicle, Wheeler allegedly told officers he was in possession of marijuana. In his right front pocket, a plastic bag containing marijuana was found with a green pill, identified as Alprazolam.

Wheeler was arrested and transported to St. Joseph Jessamine for a blood draw before being transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

 

Nicholasville woman arrested for public intoxication

 

Alyssa Claar, 26, of 307 S. Main St. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 28 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol), possession of a controlled substance, prescription container not in proper container and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the Jessamine County Public Library in reference to an unconscious female who was lying in a chair inside the library. Claar was described as having slurred speech, red eyes and was unable to complete full sentences.

Claar allegedly told officers she had taken three Seroquel pills.

Claar refused transport by Jessamine County EMS. After being placed under arrest, officers allegedly found Gapapentin, Seroquel and a metal object possibly used to grind the Seroquel for snorting in a bag Claar was carrying.

Claar was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

  • Phillip Watts, 41, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 20 for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
  • Joseph Barnes, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 20 for a parole violation.
  • Malcom Carpenter, 55, of 1053 Willburn Drive in Lexington, was arrested June 21 for failure to appear.
  • Joshua W. Taylor, 36, of 159 Chinn Lane in Harrodsburg, was arrested June 21 for failure to appear.
  • Timothy Gene Roberts, 45, of 305 Longview Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 21 for a federal warrant.
  • Eugenia G. Ramey, 50, of 411 Young Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 21 for failure to appear.
  • Trevor Wix, 39, of 712 S. Russell St. in Portland, Tennessee, was arrested June 21 for a Jessamine County warrant and failure to appear.
  • Shannon Robinson, 43, of 216 Lake View in Nicholasville, was arrested June 21 for false statement to receive benefits.
  • Jefferey D. Taylor, 37, of 101 General Delivery in Nicholasville, was arrested June 22 for a parole violation.
  • Antonio Flores, 26, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 22 for failure to appear.
  • Alvarado Alfredo Romero, 45, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 23 for failure to appear.
  • Gary Ingram, 32, of 404 Laurel Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested June 24 for theft by unlawful taking.
  • Vera M. Walker, 38, of 508 Orange St. in Richmond, was arrested June 25 for failure to appear.
  • Joshua Hart, 36, of 1921 Olforn Cirlce in Lexington, was arrested June 23 for a probation violation.
  • Thomas Storely, 53, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 26 for trafficking in a controlled substance.
  • Brian Reynolds, 29, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 26 for trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, DUI and possession of a controlled substance.
  • Reshawn Floyd, 25, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 26 for trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property, promoting contraband possession of drug paraphernalia, no operator’s moped license, speeding 20 mph over the limit and persistent felony offender.
