Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine
Michael J. Collins, 38, of 1101 Hunters Ferry Road in Nicholasville, was arrested May 28 for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), according to a citation released by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.
Collins was contacted inside his vehicle where marijuana was detected by smell coming from his passenger compartment. Collins opened the center console and retrieved a small baggie of marijuana. A probable cause search of the vehicle resulted in the confiscation of one small crystal like substance under the driver’s seat.
Collins was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine
David Cross, 50, of 8601 Tates Creek Road Apt. 11 in Nicholasville, was arrested June 1 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Cross was observed walking on Main Street and it was known he had an open warrant for his arrest. After being placed under arrest, a search resulted in the confiscation of one gram of a clear like substance suspected to be methamphetamine.
Cross was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for heroin
Anthony Ryder Hurt, 33, of 109 Ford Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested May 31 for possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to Pinoak Drive in reference to possible drug activity. When officers arrived on scene, a vehicle was pulling out of the parking lot.
During a traffic stop, the operator of the vehicle gave consent to search, which resulted in the confiscation of Hurt’s backpack which contained several used needles, and packaged needles, a digital scale, a few small baggies and small pieces of cotton used as filters.
Hurt was searched, and officers confiscated two small pieces of paper folded up in his wallet which contained a brown powdery substance believed to be heroin.
Hurt was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine
Brian S. Reynolds, 29, of 663 Burton Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested May 28 for DUI, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers received a call about a vehicle behind Bargain Hunt, and when they arrived on scene it appeared that Reynolds had just woken up in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with the vehicle running. While talking with Reynolds, he allegedly told officers he was unsure how long he had been asleep.
When asked to exit the vehicle, officers noticed blood on his hand and a container commonly used to hold needles and drug paraphernalia.
Reynolds was asked if he was alone, and he allegedly told officers “no” and that he was with his son who was 10 years old. Officers searched Bargain Hunt but did not locate the boy.
The child’s mother showed up on scene shortly after with her son and stated she had picked the child up from the area where the car was located. A search of the vehicle was performed which resulted in the confiscation of marijuana, needles, a spoon, lighter, tie off and baggies under the front driver’s seat.
Reynolds was arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Woman arrested for methamphetamine, heroin
Brandi Lockhart, 30, address unknown, was arrested June 1 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a controlled substance (heroin), according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the homeless shelter in reference to a female subject slumped over in a vehicle. Lockhart was in the passenger seat of the vehicle and allegedly woke up when officers asked her to do so. It was confirmed that Lockhart had an active warrant for her arrest.
While speaking with Lockhart, officers observed a loaded syringe laying on the dashboard in front of the subject. A search was conducted, which resulted in the confiscation of a small baggie of a brown powdery substance suspected to be heroin.
Lockhart allegedly told officers the substance in the syringe was methamphetamine. She was arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for cocaine, marijuana
Quavon M. Winslow, 22, of 502 Foxwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested May 25 for trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of marijuana, disregarding a stop sign and no operator’s license, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
A traffic stop was conducted after Winslow disregarded a stop sign. Winslow was detained after yelling at other people to allegedly “call his people.”
A search of the vehicle resulted in the confiscation of a large bag full of marijuana, a medium size bag full of cocaine and another white rock substance. Officers also located a scale and money in the same area of the narcotics.
Winslow allegedly told officers the white substance was cocaine. He was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Lexington man arrested for marijuana
Leonard Alexander Woods, 35, of 417 Kilpatrick Court in Lexington, was arrested May 24 for no registration plates, failure to maintain required insurance, trafficking in a controlled substance (marijuana) and DUI, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Woods was observed driving with an expired plate and told officers he did not have insurance on the vehicle, according to the citation.
Woods was described as having blood shot eyes and slurred speech. A field sobriety test was performed, which Woods failed.
Upon searching Woods, officers found him to be in possession of marijuana and multiple increments of cash.
Woods was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Lexington man arrested for marijuana
John E. Wilder, 52, of 621 Severn Way in Lexington, was arrested May 26 for failure to maintain required insurance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Wilder was observed traveling on North Main Street with an expired license. Upon being stopped, Wilder allegedly told officers he had one beer earlier.
Wilder could not provide proof of insurance, and while exiting the vehicle used it for balance as he walked to the front of the car.
A field sobriety test was performed, which Wilder failed. A search of the vehicle resulted in the confiscation of marijuana and drug paraphernalia under the passenger seat.
Wilder was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville woman arrested for marijuana
Amber Rose Clements, 37, of 236 San Antonio Way in Nicholasville, was arrested May 27 for DUI and possession of marijuana, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers observed Clements vehicle cross over the double line with both tires and initiated a traffic stop. Clements allegedly told officers she had marijuana in her purse. A field sobriety test was performed, which Clements failed.
Clements was transported to St. Joseph Jessamine, before being transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Christopher S. Hatfield, 34, of 336 E. Oak St. in Nicholasville, was arrested May 24 for violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order.
— Terry B. Bush, 48, of 1147 Tanyard Branch Road in Lancaster, was arrested May 24 for public intoxication (alcohol).
— David Alfred Smith, 48, of 201 N. 2nd St. in Nicholasville, was arrested May 24 for public intoxication (alcohol).
— Autumn F. Joslin, 24, of 540 W. Third St. in Lexington, was arrested May 24 for public intoxication (excludes alcohol), under the influence of a controlled substance.

— Darrel B. Piercefield, 60, of 400 Elmwood Ct. Apt. 805 in Nicholasville, was arrested May 24 for failure to appear.

— Charles N. Medina, 47, of 223 S. Eagle St. in Lexington, was arrested May 24 for reckless driving, fleeing or evading police, second degree (motor vehicle), failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security and operating motor vehicle under the influence (alcohol).
— Anthony Wayne Watts, 48, of 115 Beechmont in Nicholasville, was arrested May 25 for alcohol intoxication in a public place.
— Michelle Bruner, 32, of 102 Maple Leaf Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested May 25 for theft by unlawful taking or disposition of property (shoplifting) and failure to appear.
— Adam Tyler Carpenter, 34, of 302 Mary Rose Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested May 25 for theft by unlawful taking or disposition of property.
