Deputies from the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle crash on Keene South Elkhorn Road that has claimed one life.
The collision occurred around 7:30 p.m. Monday evening when a 26-year-old male was operating a 2002 Ford F-150 when he lost control and left the roadway striking a utility pole. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, his name is being withheld pending notification of nearest relatives.
This is the third fatal crash the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office has worked in 2019. The accident remains under investigation.
