Holy week events at Episcopal Church of the Resurrection
The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, located at 3220 Lexington Road Nicholasville, invites the community to join it for Holy Week and Easter services. All are welcome: Wednesday, April 17, Stations of the Cross will begin at 6 p.m. followed by prayers for Healing and Holy Eucharist, Thursday, April 18, Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m., church open for prayer following service; Friday, April 19, Good Friday Liturgy at noon and 7 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 8:30 a.m. Easter Service; 10:30 a.m. Easter Service Reception following services.
Lent and Holy Week at Wilmore Free Methodist Church
Wilmore Free Methodist Church, located at 1200 Lexington Road in Wilmore, welcomes the public to join them for worship during Lent and Holy Week.
The youth will experience a Seder meal on April 10 at 6:30 p.m. Palm Sunday worship will be April 14 at 8:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. Remember the Last Supper Jesus shared with His friends and followers at Maundy Thursday worship on April 18 at 7 p.m. Holy Communion closes this service. Come and observe Jesus’ passion and death at Good Friday worship on April 19 at 7 p.m.
Come and worship Christ, the risen King on Easter Sunday, April 21 at either of two morning worship services: 8:30 a.m. or 10:50 a.m. Bible study for all ages will be at 9:40 a.m. Child care is provided through 48 months at all of these services.
There will also be a community sunrise worship service behind the Luce Center at Asbury University on Easter morning at 6:45 a.m. Rain location—Mount Freedom Baptist Church, Wilmore.

Episcopal Church invites community to observe lent
The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection invites the community to join them as they observe the season of Lent, March 13-April 10, in preparation for Easter. Sunday services will be held at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Breakfast is from 9:20 to 9:45 a.m., and classes for all ages will begin at 9:40 to 10:15 a.m. and Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. For more information visit the churches Facebook page at @churchoftheresurrectionepiscopal.
Providence Christian Church hosting Bodies in Motion exercise class
Providence Christian Church announced it will host a “Bodies in Motion” exercise class each Monday and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m., located at 101 Providence Way, Nicholasville. All are welcome to come and enjoy senior-appropriate movement to enhance strength, balance, and flexibility. For more information, call 859-272-3655.
