Elsie Kibler of East Jessamine High School signed her letter of intent to University of the Cumberlands March 15. Kibler has been a member of the East Jessamine soccer program for the past six years, starting when she was in seventh grade.

“Elsie has the heart and the drive to do great things at UofC the next four years,” assistant coach Devon Burnside said. “She is a special young woman who I have had the pleasure of watching grow up since she was 10 years old. She always came into preseason in shape and was a big part of our success last year. We are excited and ready to support her during this next chapter of her life.”

“She is an intelligent and talented girl, on and off the field,” head coach Louis Jones said. “She is part of the Governor’s Scholar Program and has many academic achievements. She was a key part to our program. She’s strong, physical and technical. She is going to do great things in college and even after that.”
