Wesley Village hosted its 12th Annual Christmas Ball featuring the big band sounds of the 18-member Metrognomes on Dec. 8. Close to 200 people attended the event, young and old, and gathered in Wilmore to dance the night away while enjoying hot hors d’oeuvres and drawings for a host of local vendor door prizes. Sponsors this year included the UK College of Nursing Phyllis D. Corbitt Community Health Center in Wilmore, The Bluegrass Hearing Clinic in Nicholasville, and Highbridge Springs Water Company in Highbridge.
