The Nicholasville Fire Department hosted its annual toy drive Saturday at East Jessamine Middle School. Families filled out applications to be chosen to participate in the event, after which the NFD works to make sure children who are picked are not on any other list in the county for the holiday season. Pictured above left is the West Jessamine High School softball team who took time out from their weekend to help the NFD sort toys for the event.
