Mt. Lebanon revival services
Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church will hold its revival services at 7 p.m. Nov. 2-4 with Pastor Bad Johnson preaching. The church is located at 1001 Mt. Lebanon Pike. Brookside Baptist 30th annual homecoming celebration
Brookside Baptist Church, located at 1351 Wilmore Road in Nicholasville, invites the community to its 30-year Homecoming Celebration on Nov. 18. The event will feature a morning worship service at 11 a.m. Those who attend are invited to also stay for a fellowship lunch following the service. All are welcome.
Halloween Kid’s Harvest Fest located at Town Square Bank
First Assembly of God will host a “Kid’s Harvest Fest” from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. The location will be at 150 S. Main St., the parking lot for Town Square Bank. Lebanon Methodist Church and others will be joining the event as well. Games, candies, prizes and balloons sculptures will be given to all children free of charge. There will also be a prayer tent set up for anyone who desires special prayers. CD’s, Bibles and other gospel material will also be available. Edgewood Baptist host annual veterans appreciation service
Edgewood Baptist Church, located at 717 S. Main St., will have its annual Veterans Appreciation Service at 6 p.m. Nov. 4. In observance of the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI, all the names of the WWI soldiers from Jessamine County who gave their lives for our freedom will be read. The church encourages the descendants of these soldiers to attend and to contact the church office at 885-6211 so they can be recognized during the service. Edgewood Baptist will also host a Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat at 6 p.m. Oct. 31. All are welcome.
Bob Sellers in Concert at Sonlight Fellowship
Sonlight Fellowship Church of God announced it will host Bob Sellers in concert at 6 p.m. Saturday. The church is located at 216 E. Oak St. A fellowship meal will be held at 5 p.m. For more information call Iris Lafferty at 885-3268.
Free meal at Saint Aidan’s
