WJHS soccer, two-time defending champs, heads to Elite Eight

The West Jessamine High School girls soccer team defeated P.L. Dunbar 1-0 Monday to advance to the Elite Eight in their quest for a third consecutive state title. The Colts will face Russell at 5 p.m. Saturday at Lafayette in Lexington.
