Through funds raised by Jessamine County’s Taste of Jessamine earlier this year, the Lord’s Legacy Life Ministries announced it raised a large portion of the money needed to purchase a used handicapped-accessible van. Kentucky Colonels awarded the organization the final funds needed to make the purchase possible. “We are extremely grateful to receive their grant and will soon make our purchase in order to provide transportation to doctor appointments and community activities for our participants,” Community Relations Director Christine Endicott said.
