Travis M. Dailey, 34, of Nicholasville, was driving a 2001 Toyota Camry on Main Street near Fourth Street in Danville when police were notified by the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office that there was a warrant for his arrest and possible drugs in his vehicle. Police attempted to stop Dailey at about 2:40 p.m. when he then made a slow right turn onto Third Street and allowed a female to get out of his vehicle. According to police, she was not injured and approached police to answer questions.

Dailey continued fleeing from officers on city streets and ended up heading east on Ky. 34. Officers pursued the vehicle to U.S. 27 where he turned left and continued heading toward Nicholasville.

According to police, the chase ended near the Garrard-Jessamine county line at the dead end of George Wilson Road, when Dailey drove into a field, exited the car and ran from police.

Danville police, along with officers from several other agencies canvassed the area, which was covered in thick brush and wood lines, but were unable to locate Dailey.

Danville Police Department is continuing the investigation and charges are expected. Police are asking anyone who knows of Dailey’s whereabouts to call (859) 238-1220.
