Paul Dedrick Curry

Nov. 23, 1929 – Sept. 30, 2018

Paul Dedrick Curry, 88, loving husband to Madeline Renfro Curry, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018.

He was born to the late Russell Pearl and Eunice Ashcraft Curry Perkins, on Nov. 23, 1929, in Madison County.

Paul worked in Farm and Repair for more than 30 years for Von Gruneigan Appliance.

He attended the Mt, Beulah United Methodist Church.

Paul is survived by a large family; his five children, Ronnie Lane (Emma) Curry, Donna Sue (John) Cobb, Paul Allen (Julia) Curry, Gregory Lee (Cindi Holmes) Curry, Pamela Kaye (William) Woods, Brother Odell Curry, and sisters Ora Mae Childers, Dixie Hamilton, and Maxie Reed. 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Paul is preceded in death by three brothers Bud, Ray, and Franklin.

Funeral services will be Today at 1 p.m. at Betts and West Funeral Home. Pastor Patrick Wallace will be officiating.

Visitation was Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Betts and West. Burial will immediately follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Paul Ray Curry, Rusty Cobb, Neal Cobb, Alexander Cobb, Clint Cobb, Brandon Montgomery and Nicholas Curry.

Honorary bearers will be Colin Montgomery, Bobby Webb, Paul Hendrix and Jean Ashcraft

Walter Bradshaw

Jan. 20, 1943 – Sept. 29, 2018

Walter L. (Shorty) Bradshaw, 75, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly, his daughter, Paige B. Sininger and his grandson, Kyle, brothers Keith and Autry Bradshaw as well as nieces and nephews.

Walter is predeceased by his parents, Vernon and Mary Francis Bradshaw, stepmother Maggie Bradshaw, sisters-in-law Betty and Dorothy Bradshaw and nephew, Glenn.

Walter was employed by ABDick/Kopy Kat for 48 years. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church serving as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.

Receiving of Friends is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 with a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. Today – both at Edgewood Baptist Church in Nicholasville.

Pall Bearers are Bobby, Jeff and Ricky Bradshaw, Wilbern Merrick, Curtis Poor and Billy Ray.

Honorary Pall Bearers are Greg Bradshaw, Don Mitchell, Jim Smith Sunday School Class and former Employees of ABDick/Kopy Kat.
