At a recent Jessamine County Democratic Rally held last Thursday at the City/County Park, Marine Lt. Colonel Amy McGrath, Democratic nominee for Kentucky’s sixth congressional district, spoke to the gathered crowd asking them to take action.

The rally was organized by the Jessamine County Democratic Party. 

“Whatever you can do right now for your country, I need you to do it,” McGrath said. After the event concluded, McGrath allegedly stayed for nearly an hour shaking the hands of supporters who lined up to meet her.
