Wesley Village’s ‘Write People’ boasts newly-published authors
A gathering of creative writers, “Write People,” meets once a week at the Village’s Wilmore Senior Community Center where authors often submit their works for publication. Recently, stories of four participants were accepted and published in an anthology called “Cool-inary Moments: Culinary Memories, Mishaps, and Masterpieces” which includes real recipes flavored with a little advice. Published by Grace Publishing, Broken Arrow, the book is compiled and edited by Yvonne Lehman, best-selling author of 58 novels and compiler of 10 non-fiction books.
Left to right is Carolyn Roth Barnum, group coordinator and author of “Explosive Experience;” Juanita Giberson Woodward, author of “A Christmas Whoops!;” Robert W. Rettie, author of “Attack of the Killer Tamales;” and Mary Ellen Weber, author of “When Life Gives You Lemons.”
