Lancaster man arrested for possession of handgun, methamphetamine

Joseph Harrison Price, 35, of 116 Debbie Ave. in Lancaster, was arrested July 17 for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and theft of identity of another without consent, according to a citation issue by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Price was in possession of a handgun in the backyard of a residence on the corner of East Brown Street and Foxwood Drive. A small bag of methamphetamine was located during a search of the area, and a digital scale was laying on the ground near Price.

Price told officers his name was “Nick Price.” He also gave officers the Social Security number of Nick Price. After further investigation, it was determined he gave officers the wrong identity.

Officers asked Price if he had consent to use the false identity, and he allegedly told them no.

Price was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for DUI

James D. Turner, 18, of 302 Wabarto Way in Nicholasville, was arrested July 21 for improper turning, DUI and operating on a suspended or revoked license, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Turner was observed trying to make an improper turn onto Main Street and was pulled over for a traffic stop on North Main Street, where he allegedly told officers he was trying to make it home.

Officers advised Turner of the improper turn but he told them he did not know he made one. Turner was described as having slurred speech and appeared to be under the influence.

Turner quickly became defensive, allegedly telling officers it was not possible he made an improper turn. Officers asked turner if he had been in an altercation because of blood in the corner of his mouth. Turner told officers he had hit his lip on a door.

A field sobriety test was performed, which Tuner failed.

Turner was placed under arrest and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville woman arrested for methamphetamine

Heather D. Bullock, 42, of 256 Blueberry Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested July 17 for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Bullock was found with a small bag of suspected methamphetamine inside. The bag was lying next to Bullock, along with a digital scale. The incident occurred in the backyard of a residence on the corner of East Brown Street and Foxwood Drive.

Bullock was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine, suboxone, marijuana

Hollis R. Smith, 20, of 224 Green St. in Nicholasville, was arrested July 16 for second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), second-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and possession of marijuana, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

While officers were patrolling the area of East Chestnut Street, Smith was observed on foot and was known to have an e-warrant out of Franklin County for his arrest.

After making contact with Smith, and advising there was an warrant for his arrest, Smith began to get angry stating he had been harassed by police.

While officers attempted to detain Smith, he fled on foot and jumped two fences, according to the citation.

Smith was apprehended on Jefferson Street, and upon search, two small rocks suspected to be methamphetamine, one orange pill suspected to be Suboxone and one rolled joint suspected to be marijuana were located. In the area where Smith had been apprehended officers also located a black case with a suspected crack pipe inside.

Smith was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine

David S. Honaker, 43, of 100 Ironwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 20 for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers were flagged down at the Five Star gas station at 708 S. Main St. Officers were told Honaker had been in the store for a while and had a syringe in his pocket.

Honaker was observed in the bathroom washing his hands.

Officers advised Honaker to step out of the bathroom and a syringe could be seen sticking out of his pant pocket.

Honaker allegedly admitted to possession of a syringe. While frisking Honaker, officers found a plastic container with suspected methamphetamine inside.

Honaker was read his Miranda rights, and allegedly told officers he had been on methamphetamine half of his life, 15 to 16 years.

Honaker was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Perryville man arrested for marijuana

Nathan Travis Caldwell, 30, of 105 N. Bfag St. in Perryville, was arrested July 22 for DUI and possession of marijuana, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers received a call about a suspicious vehicle at 2012 Sulpher Well Pike parked in the driveway of a residence and still running.

Caldwell was found outside the vehicle with his arms inside the window. He ignored the officer’s commands three times before complying.

Caldwell said he was tired and needed to sleep.

Caldwell was described as having blood shot eyes and pin point pupils. A field sobriety test was performed, which Caldwell failed, according to the citation.

Officers said marijuana could be smelled, and a bag of marijuana was in plain view inside the vehicle. Caldwell admitted to using marijuana,

Officers weighed the marijuana, which was reportedly 11 pounds.

At St. Joseph Jessamine, Caldwell admitted to paying $150 for the marijuana.

He was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Jessica M. King, 31, of 313 Miles Road in Nicholasville, was arrested July 17 for failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order.

— Jacques Washington, 24, of 138 Ashberry Drive Apt. C in Bardstown, was arrested July 17 for failure to appear.

— Joanna Marie Lister, 47, of 117 Briarwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 17 for DUI.

— Krystal Woods, 32, of 400 Foxwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 17 for receiving stolen property under $500.

— Christopher Pilfrey, 30, of 112 Heritage Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 17 for failure to appear.

— Jacob T. McIntosh, 29, of 125 Beechmont Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 18 for failure to pay restitution.

— Jordan McPherson, 21, of 405 Imperial Way in Nicholasville, was arrested July 18 for fourth-degree assault.

— Steven McCarty, 43, of 107 Briarwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 18 for failure to appear.

— Shannon L. Powell, 38, of 3509 Rams GTWY in Lexington, was arrested July 18 for non-payment of court fees.

— Bradley K. Turner, 53, of 110 McDonald St. in Nicholasville, was arrested July 18 for non-payment of court costs and a probation violation.

— Clinton Hershel Chair, 29, of 455 Clarence Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 18 for failure to appear.

— Joseph K. Satterly, 47, of 135 Chestnut Grove Road in Parksville, was arrested July 19 for DUI, no registration plates, failure of owner to maintain required insurance and first-degree wanton endangerment.

— Joseph Bryan Brewster, 41, of 223 Ridgewood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 19 for violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order.

— Elizabeth D. Wash, 35, of 0 Pekin Lane in Wilmore, was arrested July 19 for DUI and first-degree wanton endangerment.

— Allen Singleton, 30, of 3810 N. Malton Drive in Leander, was arrested July 20 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— David A. Smith, 47, of 201 N. Second St. in Nicholasville, was arrested July 20 for DUI.

— Thomas Stout, 33, of 235 Courchelle Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested July 23 for failure to appear.

— Steven Penn, 47, of 101 General Delivery in Lexington, was arrested July 24 for non-payment of fines.
