Local gift shop specializes in country primitive

Hide-Away Gift Shop,
located at 415 S. Main
St. in Nicholasville for the
past 30 years, is owned
by life-long Jessamine
County resident Carolyn
Corman. Among the
many items in the store,
shoppers will find household
bedding, linens,
painted wood furniture,
candles, rugs and prints.
Prices range from $10 –
$150, excluding furniture
pieces. The shop is open
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday
through Saturday,
and closed Sunday and
Monday. Corman said,
“It is something I always
wanted to do. I have customers
who have been
with me since day one.”
