Terry Alan Houp, Sr., 66, husband of 43 years to Mary Clifton Houp of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Lexington. He was born in Jessamine County on Sept. 7, 1951 to the late Virgil and Pauline Waters Houp. He was a master technician in the automobile industry and an accomplished musician. Survivors include three children, Stacey (Tim) Oney, Alan (Lucy) Houp and Travis (Hilary) Houp, grandchildren, Lucas Houp, Matthew Oney, Isabella Houp, Mason Oney, Amelia Houp, Clay Houp, Madelyn Houp and Carson Griffith. Additional survivors include a sister, Cheryl (Terry) Parson and a brother, Jerry (Wanda) Houp and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and co-workers and his special dog, Brady. The family had a visitation Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Betts & West Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Primate Rescue Center.
