Danville man arrested for DUI

Johnathan Ace Pennington, 20, of 530 Denmark Drive in Danville, was arrested June 9 for first-offense DUI, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Pennington was seen on Wichita Drive disregarding the stop light at the intersection of US 27, traveling northbound and swerving in his lane. While traveling under KY 29, Pennington was seen making an abrupt right swerve, according to the citation.

Pennington then continued to swerve between the lines in his lane.

Pennington was stopped and admitted to consuming two “Nattie Daddys” 20 minutes prior to driving. 

A field sobriety test was performed, which Pennington failed. Pennington was described as unsteady on his feet. A preliminary breath test was performed with a result of 0.155. Pennington was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

Nicholasville man arrested for public intoxication

Mathew W. Hammons, 34, of 402 Broadway St. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 6 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Hammons was attempting to get into vehicles and pulling on the door of the Corman building. Hammons was described as manifestly under the influence of narcotics and was allegedly a danger to himself and others.

When Hammons observed officers turning their vehicle around, he jumped on the porch of a residence and started knocking on the door. When asked, Hammons allegedly told officers he knew the residents, although the residents stated they did not know Hammons.

Hammond told officers he had medication in a pill bottle in his pant pocket, although no pill bottle could be found.

The citation stated Hammons made several other statements which did not make sense. Hammons was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

Nicholasville man arrested for DUI

Lakin Riley Todd, 23, of 428 Miles Toad in Nicholasville, was arrested June 5 for a second-offense DUI, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to CVS Pharmacy to a possible overdose in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers observed Todd in the driver’s seat and unresponsive with the vehicle running. Once officers attended to Todd, he allegedly became responsive and was described as having slurred speech and struggling to put together complete sentences.

Officers asked Todd to step out of the vehicle, and described his movements as slow and labored.  Todd allegedly told officers he had been taking his medication, Seroquel.

Todd was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

Nicholasville man arrested for public intoxication

David Martin Caudill, 45, of 1025 Old Railroad Lane in Nichoalsville, was arrested June 8 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol) and first-degree first-offense possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to Kroger at Brannon Crossing in reference to a male passed out in the bathroom. Officers found Caudill on the bathroom floor with his pants half down. Caudill was described as confused and not knowing what county he was in. Caudill had slurred speech and constricted pupils, according to the citation.

During the search of the bathroom where Caudill was found, a white powdery substance was located inside a $1 bill. An empty syringe was also located. Caudill allegedly told officers he did not know what the powder was but it appeared to be methamphetamine. Caudill was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

Nicholasville man arrested for public intoxication

Jason A. Norman, 46, of 101 Richmond Ave. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 8 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the Subway on Quinn Drive in reference to a subject in a tree. The caller said the man had been in the tree for three hours in order to get away from three dogs.

Norman was described as sweaty and seeing things that were not real. Norman said he saw three dogs at the officer’s feet while he was in the tree, according to the citation.

Jessamine County EMS checked Norman, and said he was alert and oriented. Norman refused EMS treatment and after it was determined Norman was under the influence of something besides alcohol, he was described as being a threat to himself and others and was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

Nicholasville man arrested for heroin

Jesus Rodriguez, 27, of 101 Strawberry Court in Nicholasville, was arrested June 6 for first-offense DUI, first-degree first-offense possession of a controlled substance (heroin), second-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Rodriguez was involved in a non-injury collision at 230 Longview Drive where he drove over the curb almost striking two witnesses walking on the sidewalk, and then striking a mailbox. Upon contact with Rodriguez, he was described as having slurred speech, lethargic movement and dilated eyes. Rodriguez opened his passenger door to retrieve insurance papers, where officers saw an orange cap to a syringe on the passenger floorboard.

Upon search of the vehicle, officers located a syringe loaded with water and a spoon with a paper filter with suspected heroin residue.

A field sobriety test was performed, which Rodriguez failed. Rodriguez admitted to drinking alcohol, and a preliminary breath test showed the presence of alcohol in his system. Rodriguez also admitted to using heroin earlier in the day, according to the citation.

Upon search of the vehicle, officers located a white plastic container containing broken tablets of Xanax and Suboxone. Also located in a folded piece of paper was a powdery substance, which Rodriguez said was heroin.

Rodriguez was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

— Aldonica Lea Kiger, 44, of 7 Garden Park Circle in Nicholasville, was arrested June 4 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

— Brandon T. Showalter, 20, of 117 Hillcrest Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 4 for non-payment of court fees.

— Timothy W. Blackford, 48, of 109 Canada HL in Keene, was arrested June 4 for criminal possesion of a forged instrument (identity).

— Christopher L. Yocum, 29, of 30 Redding Court in Lexington, was arrested June 4 for fourth-degree assault.

— Christine Lyons, 37, of 612 Longview in Nicholasville, was arrested June 4 for failure to appear.

— Tera R. Adams, 42, of 219 S. Main St. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 5 for alcohol intoxication in a public place and resisting arrest.

— Cameron Ray Howard, 19, of 1349 Center Parkway in Nichoalsville, was arrested June 5 for failure to appear.

— Jermaine L. Christian, 37, of 203 Maple Leaf Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested June 5 for a parole violation.

— Tammy Michelle Obrecht, 47, of 123 Cottage St. Apt. B in Nicholasville, was arrested June 5 for possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— James C. Gill, 40, of 199 Leedean in Nicholasville, was arrested June 5 for theft by unlawful taking under $500 and failure to appear.

— Jeffrey Kyle Parman, 32, of 385 Redding Road Apt. 80 in Nicholasville, was arrested June 5 for failure to appear.

— Christopher Martel Newby, 32, of 305 Ballpark Drive Apt. 204 in Lexington, was arrested June 5 for failure to appear.

— Albert Halcomp, 32, of 221 Cannon Ball Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 5 for two-counts of fourth-degree assault (child abuse).

— Alissa Smith, 32, of 201 Edwards Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 5 for trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin).

— Anthony Quinn, 30, of 109 Andren in Nicholasville, was arrested on June 5 for failure to appear.

— Timothy S, Morris, 26, of 183 Short Creek Road in Hyden, was arrested June 6 for failure to appear.

— Ismael None Carvajal Duran, 54, of 505 S. Main St. Apt. C in Nicholasville, was arrested on June 6 for fourth-degree assault.

— Aaron J. Lajoice, 19, of 240 Pleasent Pointe Drive in Lexington, was arrested June 6 for DUI.

— Kathryn Hubler, 23, of 220 Mary Rose Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested June 6 for failure to appear.

— Robert Bruce, 25, of 220 Maryrose Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 6 for a Jessamine County warrant.

— Christopher Hulett, 39, of 255 Willamsburg Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 7 for pulic intoxication.

— David Waymire, 25, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 7 for posession of drug paraphernalia, operating on a susbended or revoked license, failure to maintain required insurance, trafficking in a controlled substance and posession of marijuana.

— Xander Reign, 44, of the Jessamien County Detention Center, was arrested June 7 for first-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief.

— Stephanie Cokonougher, 30, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 7 for first-degree first-offense possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and first-degree promoting contraband.

— Larry Hutson, 38, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 7 for first-degree burglary, fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest and second-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Jill Stinnett, 36, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 7 for first-degree first-offense possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree first-offense trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified).

— Anthony Buchanan, 35, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 7 for possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).

— Douglas Hayes, 39, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 7 for violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order.

— Michael Hillege, 35, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 7 for violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order.

— Randi E. Rouse, 37, of 1244 Center Parkway in Lexington, was arrested June 7 for failure to appear.

— David Hall, 33, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 7 for possession of a controlled substance (heroin), promoting contraband and persistent felony offender.

— Tami Johns, 46, of 908 Wabarte Way in Nichoalsville, was arrested June 8 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

— Gregory Smith, 53, of 112 Twin Acres in Nicholasville, was arrested June 8 for fourth-degree assault.

— Megan Myers, 27, of 513 Ridgeview in Nicholasville, was arrested June 8 for failure to appear.

— Coleman Riestra Sweat, 35, of 703 Bellaire Ave. in Lexington, was arrested June 10 for speeding 20 MPH over the limit and DUI.

— Frances A. Martin, 43, of 2010 Union Mill Road in Nicholasville, was arrested June 10 for receiving stolen property (firearm).

— Christopher Farmer, 36, of 602 Kevin Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 10 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— Mathew N. Lawson, 30, of 300 Edgewood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 10 for failure to appear and non-payment of court fees.

—Jacob E. Stamm, 33, of 417 E. Maple St. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 10 for failure to appear.

— Kenneth Benedix, 38, of 261 Rebel Road #7 in Nicholasville, was arrested June 10 for alcohol intoxication in a public place and violatin of conditions of release.

— Garyln Jeter, 59, of 26 McDowell Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 10 for failure to pay and failure to appear.

— Chris O’Neal, 37, of 221 Rebel Road in Nicholasville, was arrested June 10 for failure to pay and failure to appear.

— Lauren T. Gannon, 26, of 323 Royalty Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 11 for a probation violation.

— Lacey D. Dewitt, 30, of 132 Floyd Court in Nicholasville, was arrested June 11 for failure to appear.
