Lexington woman arrested for public intoxication

Aime Jean Simpson, 38, of 103 Withers Ave., in Lexington, was arrested May 8 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol), second- and third-degree possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Nicholasville police responded to a call of a female passed out in her car in the Kroger parking lot. The caller also advised the female failed to wake up after several attempts. Simpson was found behind the wheel with her seat belt still on, according to the citation.

After waking up, Simpson told officers she was confused. Officers said she had constricted pupils and difficulty keeping her eyes open. Simpson gave the officers permission to search her vehicle, which resulted in the confiscation of several hydrocodone tablets, as well as several clonazepam tablets. Also inside the vehicle were several cut straws and a pipe, according to the citation.

Simpson was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

Nicholasville couple arrested for possession of heroin

William D. Beam, 39, of 202 E. Edgewood Drive Apt. B in Nicholasville, was arrested May 10 for possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of marijuana, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers received a call that a female was in a Buick across from 300 E. Edgewood Drive and was possibly under the influence.

Officers found a female sitting in the driver’s seat and Beam was in the grass next to the open front passenger door.

The female consented to a search of the vehicle, according to the citation.

While searching the vehicle, officers found an open bottle of liquor. Beam allegedly told officers he had been drinking. Upon further search, officers found a red and white Marlboro cigarette package containing heroin and marijuana. Beam told officers he did not know who the cigarette pack belonged to.

Beam was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

Latasha Ann Rankin, 33, of 124 Myers Court in Lancaster, was arrested May 10 for a first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, heroin), first-degree and first-offense possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and second-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified),  according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Rankin was inside the vehicle parked across from E. Edgewood Drive, when officers gained consent to search the vehicle resulting in confiscation of a Marlboro pack with suspected marijuana and heroin. Officers also located a red plastic container in Rankin’s purse containing numerous small plastic bags, a green straw with residue, a packet of four Buprenorphine and Naloxone 2 mg pills in a clear plastic bag also containing a crystallized rock substance suspected to be methamphetamine. Also inside Rankin’s purse was located two small round pills imprinted with “PLIVA 433,” which was identified as Trazadone Hydrochloride.

Rankin allegedly told officers inside the plastic bag was “ice” and it was hers. Rankin was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Tennessee man arrested passed out in vehicle

Steven Ryan Sutherland, 35, of 1135 Lascassas Pike in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was arrested on May 13 for DUI.

Sutherland was observed in the driver’s seat of a vehicle passed out with a blood filled syringe in his arm. Upon contact and waking up, Sutherland appeared under the influence and was initially irate and had difficulty standing. Sutherland consented to a blood test. He was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Harrodsburg man arrested for possession of methamphetamine

Eric Corman, 38, of 9125 Harrodsburg Road in Harrodsburg, was arrested on May 15 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol) and a first-degree first-offense possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Nicholasville Police were advised by Subway personal that a man had been in the restroom for about three hours, and also advised that a man and woman were coming into the restroom around every 30 minutes for the last three hours.

Officers arrived and made contact with Corman, who was described as unsteady on his feet with constricted pupils. He had also allegedly scratched at his finger and leg until they were bleeding. Corman was arrested for public intoxication. Upon searching, officers located a small baggie of what appeared to be methamphetamine inside Corman’s left shorts pocket, according to the citation.

Corman was transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

Lancaster woman arrested for possession of marijuana

Rachel Martin, 32, of 2021 Pollys Bend Road in Lancaster, was arrested on May 10 for possession of marijuana, first-degree and first-offense possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded to Pollys Bend Road in reference to a suspicious person sitting in a Chevrolet Blazer and driving around the neighborhood. Martin was the only occupant of the vehicle and gave consent for officers to perform a search which resulted in locating suspected marijuana in the passenger seat. A glass pipe was located in the driver seat where Martin had been sitting, and was allegedly believed to be used to smoke marijuana. Also located in the vehicle in the center console was a glass pipe believed to be used for smoking methamphetamine and a bag of suspected methamphetamine. Martin was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville woman arrested on stolen property charges

Stephanie Cokonougher, 30, of 263 Kimberly Heights in Nicholasville, was arrested on May 10 for receiving stolen property under $10,000, first-degree promoting contraband and first-degree second-offense possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Cockonougher was arrested on a Garrard County warrant and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center. Upon entering the center she was warned about hidden contraband, and stated she did not have anything on her. Upon searching Cokonougher, suboxone pills were hidden inside her bra, and a bottle containing heroin and morphine pills were found inside an Advil container in her pants, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for possession of methamphetamine

Lyonal B. Williams, 54, of 130 Olivia Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested on May 11 for failure to appear, first-degree and first-offense possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers executed a Jessamine County warrant on Williams at the above address. A search incident yielded three syringes found in Williams front pocket. Three clear plastic bags were also located in William’s front right pockets, one of which contained a crystal like substance. Williams allegedly told officers the substance was speed after waiving his miranda rights.

Williams was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for trafficking in controlled substance

David Waymire, 25, of 207 N. Central Avenue in Nicholasville, was arrested on May 20 for first-degree first-offense trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Waymire was known to have several warrants out for his arrest and was stopped and arrested from his vehicle. On the front seat of the vehicle was a grinder with marijuana reside inside. Also located in the vehicle was a bag found to contain 7 grams of methamphetamine and several dozens of zip lock bags along with a scale. Waymire was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Patty A. Cook, 50, of 934 Hwy 1729 in Russell Springs, was arrested May 7 for DUI.

— Carson Morton, 33, of 225 S. Highland St. in Nicholasville, was arrested May 22 for shoplifting under $500 (first-offense), possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of identity of another without consent and giving officer false identifying information.

— Andrew Hurt, 34, of 122 Baybrock Circle in Nicholasville, was arrested May 7 for failure to appear.

— Robert Cilinceon. 49, of 5130 Hwy 910 in Russell Springs, was arrested May 7 for failure to appear.

— Liam Shirey, 39, of 400 John Sutherland Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested May 7 for first-degree wanton endangerment.

— David Bealey, 36, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested May 8 for failure to appear.

— Tracy Sue Royalty, 45, of 208 E. Factory St. in Harrodsburg, was arrested May 8 for DUI and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Kayla Gonzalez, 30, of 1283 Ben Ali Drive in Danville, was arrested May 8 for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

— Clinton Hurley, 35, of 423 Coldstream Drive in Danville, was arrested May 8 for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

— Amy J. Lane, 37, of 320 Southview Drive Apt. 105 in Nicholasville, was arrested May 9 for shoplifting, operating on a suspended license, no insurance and no registration.

— Amanda R. Woods, 35, of 111 E. Brown in Nicholasville, was arrested May 9 for contempt.

— Joshua Taylor, 35, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested May 9 for failure to pay.

— Andrew Hurt, 34, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested May 9 for receiving stolen property under $500.

— Bobby Sullens, 37, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested May 9 for failure to appear.

— Jordan Crabbs, 25, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested May 9 for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Cody White, 26, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested May 9 for theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but less than $10,000.

— John Whisman, 29, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested May 9 for first-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking (firearm).

— Anthony Bryan Hunter, 35, of 432 Locust Ave. in Lexington, was arrested May 9 for alcohol intoxication in a public place (first and second offense).

— Mary V. Cook, 32, of 429 Kevin Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested May 9 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— Austin M. Trainer, 24, of 5300 Sugarcreek Pike in Nicholasville, was arrested May 9 for second-degree assault.

— Madeline Casselman, 24, of 8031 Troy Pike  Apt. 79A, was arrested May 10 for failure to appear and felony theft by deception.

— Nathan C. Peel, 36, of 2190 McGee Lane Apt. 1 in Nicholasville, was arrested May 10 for fourth-degree assault.

— Cody White, 26, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested May 10 for failure to appear.

— Jesse R. Fox, 33, of 1509 Poortown Road in Nicholasville, was arrested May 11 for fourth-degree assault.

— David Begley, 36, of 944 Meadow Lane in Lexington ,was arrested May 11 for failure to appear, theft of identity of another without constant and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

— Joseph Turner, 40, of 501 Ridgeview in Nicholasville, was arrested May 11 for failure to appear and failure to pay.

— Shannon Smith, 43, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested May 11 for failure to appear.

— Luke Scott Gribrins, 18, of 1570 Bethel Road in Nicholasville, was arrested May 11 for trafficking in marijuana.

— Ciro Garcia Saenez, 25, of 406 Falconer Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested May 11 for first-offense DUI and no operators-moped license.

— Juarez Martinez, 34, of 2553 Larkin Road Apt. D41 in Lexington, was arrested May 11 for alcohol intoxication in a public place (first and second offense).

— Erin Stephens, 24, of 3333 Tahoe Road in Lexington, was arrested May 12 for failure to appear.

— Xander A. Reign, 44, of 6190 Woodpile Drive in Burlington, was arrested May 12 for first-degree arson.

— Johnny Sullivan, 58, of 71 Flagship Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested May 13 for theft of a motor vehicle registration plate, receiving stolen property under $10,000, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and receiving stolen property under $500.

— Pete Taylor, 44, of 71 Flagship in Nicholasville, was arrested May 13 for failure to appear.

— Stella Wilson, 40, of 205 Cardinal Drive in Lancaster, was arrested May 13 on a Pulaski County warrant.

— Mark Hill, 43, of 215 S. Main St. in Nicholasville, was arrested May 13 for fourth-degree assault.

— Gregory L. McLean, 37, of 2017 Laurel Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested May 13 for fourth-degree assault.

— Thomas Roberts, 53, of 57 S.E. Locust Drive in Winchester, was arrested May 13 for public intoxication.

— Jessica Courtney Helton, 37, of 1535 Lascassas Pike in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was arrested May 13 for failure to appear.

— Jimmy Hale, 40, of 201 N. Central in Nicholasville, was arrested May 14 for failure to appear.

— Sarah N. Batsman, 26, of 407 E. Maple in Nicholasville, was arrested May 14 for second-degree burglary.

— John Brooks, 32, of 111 Haselden Hats in Lancaster, was arrested May 14 for failure to appear.
