Jessamine Career and Technology Center hosted the Kentucky Court of Appeals Monday afternoon where students from West Jessamine and East Jessamine high schools were able to sit in on a case involving an argument whether an insurance contract is void. Will Hall, pre-law pathway teacher at JCTC, said, “We read and learn about real Kentucky appeals cases weekly in class so that students have a real world understanding of the law. Students will see ‘behind the curtain’ at how a real appeal works during this case. This will broaden their understanding of the law and add color to what we are learning.”
