Asbury University junior, and Air Force ROTC cadet Seth Padgett, has been selected for a pilot slot in the United States Air Force. Padgett, son of Todd and Krista Padgett, was born in Germany while his father served in the army and grew up in Wilmore. After graduation, Padgett will commission with the Air Force as a second lieutenant and will attend undergraduate pilot training. “There aren’t a lot of people who get to do ROTC and go to a small school,” Padgett said in a prepared statement. “I’ve loved being able to be part of such a tight-knit community and also getting all the opportunities of being part of ROTC. I get the best of both worlds.”
