EJMS announces students of the month

Sixth-grader Amanda Barrett, the daughter of Kristi and Brian Barrett, is being recognized for being exceptionally mature. She is described as a hard worker who is smart, kind and always ready to help. The school reports her classwork is excellent, and she is always well organized and participates positively and productively in her classes each day.

Seventh-grader Daniela Karpyuk, the daughter of Nataliya and Anatoliy Karpyuk, is involved at EJMS with art, student tutoring and cooking. Daniela is described as always willing to step up and help others when asked. She is reportedly kind and respectful to peers and teachers, reliable, hard-working and has a wonderful personality. She is also described as a leader and role model for other students, and every day brings joy to the classroom and helps motivate her classmates to do their best. The school reports she is the ideal student.

Eighth-grader Dawson Dunning, the son of Mary and David Dunning, is involved with EJMS chorus, band, Junior Beta, music and electrical engineering. Dawson is being recognized for being consistently energetic, positive, hardworking and never hesitating to volunteer in class. He is always willing to help answer his classmates’ questions. Dawson actively tracks his grades and is described as being dedicated to making progress in all classes. The school reports Dawson is a role model for his peers and a joy to teach.
