Hustonville man arrested for DUI on Feb. 19

John M. Judy, 46, of 74 Black Pike in Hustonville, was arrested on Feb. 19 for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Responding to a call about a reckless driver, officers saw Judy at US 27 and Edgewood Drive, allegedly failing to stay in his lane. Upon officers activating an emergency signal, Judy allegedly began to switch lanes failing to stop until he came to Keene Center Way, according to the citation.

Judy was described as having slurred speech and being unstable on his feet. Judy consented to a field sobriety test, which he  failed, according to the citation.

Judy told officers that he had taken a shot of bourbon one hour prior and had just used mouth wash, according to the citation. After being placed under arrest, Judy’s vehicle was searched which allegedly yielded two bottles of Evan Williams, one of which was empty and the other half empty.

Lexington man arrested for possession of synthetic marijuana

Charles D. Jackson, 40, of 532 Scottsdale Circle in Lexington, was arrested on Feb. 19 for public intoxication excluding alcohol and possession of a synthetic drug in the first degree, according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies responded to a vehicle off the roadway on Brannon Road at Lantern Way where allegedly Jackson was standing outside of the vehicle and appeared to be under the heavy influence of narcotics. Deputies detained Jackson for not only their own safety but Jackson’s safety as well, according to the citation.

Jackson was searched, which allegedly yielded two bags of synthetic marijuana in his left coat pocket.

Jackson was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.

Annville man arrested for public intoxication

Brian C. Sandlin, 27, of 190 Seal Road in Annville, was arrested on Feb. 19 for public intoxication, according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.

Sandlin was reported as knocking on doors and allegedly telling those who answered  he was being chased by a motorcycle gang. Sandlin was described as being a danger to himself and others, and allegedly told deputies that he had taken methamphetamine in the last 24 hours.

He was placed under arrest and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Crab Orchard man arrested for reckless driving

Cody W. Brown, 23, of 2642 Ky HWY 3246 in Crab Orchard, was arrested on Feb. 20 for reckless driving, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers responded to a call about a black pickup truck traveling north bound on US 27 and observed the vehicle allegedly going 91 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Officers caught up to Brown at Edgewood Drive where a traffic stop was initiated and Brown allegedly told officers that he was going to pick up his wife. Brown was described as allegedly operating in a reckless manor with no regard for himself, passengers and other motorists.

He was arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for DUI

Sebastian L. Justin, 38, of 643 Tommy Murphy Road in Nicholasville, was arrested on Feb. 20 for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Justin was traveling on York Street when a traffic stop was initiated. Officers allegedly detected a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Justin allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana before being stopped, and officers administered a field sobriety test. Justin was placed under arrested after failing three separate tests, according to the citation. He was asked to submit a blood test at St. Joseph Jessamine, which he refused.

Justin was then taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Wilmore man arrested for burglary after fleeing scene

Jason Holman, 47, of 2255 Lexington Road, Apt. C in Wilmore, was arrested on Feb. 21 for burglary, according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.

Holman allegedly entered through the front door of a residence and was found in the home when the owners arrived. Holman fled the scene and was apprehended in a field near the residence.

Holman was arrested and transferred to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Harrodsburg man arrested for criminal trespassing

Chad E. Baker, 41, of 864 Scooter Avenue in Harrodsburg, was arrested on Feb. 24 for criminal trespass, according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.

Baker was found by the property owner asleep inside the residence.  The property owner advised he is responsible for the property and Baker did not have permission to be inside, according to the citation.

The door to the rear of the property was found to be opened using force and Baker’s clothes were wet and muddy from him stumbling in a field adjacent to the residence. Baker allegedly claimed that he had permission to be inside the residence, although it could not be confirmed.

Baker was arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville woman arrested after running into parked car

Kelli Archer, 20, of 9581 Harrodsburg Road in Nicholasville, was arrested on Feb. 24 for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies observed Archer back into a parked car located on Elm Fork at Wes Lane. Upon making contact with Archer to take the information for the vehicle crash, deputies alleged Archer had blood shot and glassy eyes, according to the citation.

Deputies asked Archer if she had been drinking, which she allegedly answered yes. Deputies attempted to check her balance, although Archer allegedly stated she couldn’t due to a bad knee. She was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Virgil Preston, 53, of 102 Hill N Dale Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Feb. 18 for non-payment of court costs, fees or fines.

— April Michelle Bain, 25, of 101 Peelmore Court in Nicholasville, was arrested Feb. 19 for failure to appear.

— Devin A. Green, 24, of 140 Janice Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Feb. 19 for failure to appear.

— Scotty G. Wilhoite, 48, of 105 Birch Drive Apt. A in Nicholasville, was arrested Feb. 19 for non-payment of court costs, fees or fines.

— Sherri Perkins, 52, of 2782 Short Town Road in Liberty, was arrested Feb. 20 for failure to appear.

— Lester A. Bowling, 62, of 215 Sandy Gap Tower Road in Somerset, was arrested Feb. 20 for failure to appear.

— Thomas Gregory Vetter, 55, of 109 Dixie Pine Drive in Burnside, was arrested Feb. 20 for making false statement to prevent reduction of benefit over $100.

— Robert K. Jones, 53, of 219 Strawberry Court in Nicholasville, was arrested Feb. 20 for probation violation (for felony offense).

— Sale Rice, 40,  of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Feb. 22 for failure to appear.

— Arlie Harper, 32, of 2480 Highbridge Road in Wilmore, was arrested Feb. 22 for failure to appear and on Feb. 23 for failure to pay.

— Meza Monica Chavez, 18, of 301 E. Ridge Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Feb. 22 for failure to appear.

— Heather Fugate, 35, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Feb. 22 for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs, driving under the influence with suspended license, second offense, possession of controlled substance, third degree and persistent felony offender.

— Hagen Whitaker, 22,of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Feb. 22 for trafficking controlled substance, first degree, first offense and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

— Austin Crown, 24, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Feb. 22 for possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense (Heroin), possession of controlled substance, second degree, possession of marijuana and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

— Caitlin Fualey, 29, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Feb. 22 for receiving stolen property under $10,000, possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense, buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, persistent felony offender, and failure to pay.

— Kathy Meery, 20, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Feb. 22 for possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense (Meth), possession of controlled substance, second degree and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

— William McFadden, 40, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Feb. 22 for possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense (Meth), and possession of controlled substance, first degree.

— Timothy Burress, 29, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Feb. 23 for failure to pay fines.

— Fadire F. Arias, 28, of 117 Jennifer Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Feb. 23 for failure to appear.

— Luda Colliuer, 50, of 218 Catherman in Nicholasville, was arrested Feb. 23 for receiving stolen property under $10,000.

— Devon Dakota Hoover, 20, of 1763 Kissing Ridge in Nicholasville, was arrested Feb. 24 for non-payment of fines.

— Recena Vincent, 46, of 35 Leedean Circle in Nicholasville, was arrested Feb. 24 for mentally ill and danger to self and others.

— Brian T. Jones also known as Brian Allen Jones, 27, of 253 E. Main St. in Paris, was arrested on Feb. 25 for serving warrant for other county and promoting contraband, first degree.

— Charles J. Tapp, 28, of 1204 Kidds Mill Road in Versailles, was arrested Feb. 25 for probation violation (felony offense).

— Ricky Smith, 46, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Feb. 25 for failure to pay.

— Christel Davis, 42, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Feb. 25 for receiving stolen property under $500.

— Allen M. Duggins, 32, of 200 Miller Lane in Wilmore, was arrested Feb. 25 for emergency detention.

— Sarah A. Burress, 35, of 116 Wichita Drive Apt. C in Nicholasville, was arrested on Feb. 26 for failure to appear.

— Jesse Bryce, 28, of 217 Whispering Brook in Nicholasville, was arrested on Feb. 26 for failure to appear.
