West Jessamine High School Assistant Principal Andy McConnell promised to shave his head if students raised at least 7,000 items in a food drive last month. WJHS succeeded in collecting more than 8,000 items that were then taken by the school’s FFA to the homes of families in need. McConnell stayed true to his word, allowing the FFA officers to shave his head in a school assembly.
