The long-awaited Fall 2017 issue of Jessamine Life is in-house and in subscribers’ mailboxes.

The Fall issue takes a look at Wilmore’s mayor of 42 years, Harold Rainwater, and why he proudly proclaims that helping run the town he loves so much is the “greatest job” he could have.

Also in the Fall issue is a detailed look at the preparation for, the taping of and the post-production on Asbury University’s sitcom last month through the eyes of some of the students who had prominent roles on the set and on the production.

Community events are also again highlighted in the magazine, as September’s first-ever All-American Burger Bash and Halloween’s Spooky Time On Main are remembered in pictures. Also inside is a trip back in time courtesy of a recap of Camp Nelson’s annual Civil War Days.

Plus, learn about how one small church group is helping Jessamine County Adult Education make a  big impact and the many things that Chamber of Commerce President Randall Chewning loves about Jessamine County.

All of this and more is in the Fall 2017 issue of Jessamine Life magazine, now available at no cost at the Jessamine Journal office at 507 N. Main St., in Nicholasville.
