Scott Station Inn at 305 E. Main St. in Wilmore was inspected on Oct. 2, 2017 and scored 100.

Cracker Barrel at 4089 Lexington Rd. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 5, 2017 and scored 93. Notes: can opener unclean on prep table, sanitizer level below 50 ppm on mechanical dishwasher and cooking oil container unclean at dumpster area. Follow-up inspection took place on Oct. 12, 2017 and scored 97. Notes: sanitizer now working on dishwasher.

Mi Pequena Hacienda at 110 Cynthia Drive in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 5, 2017 and scored 97. Notes: prep coolers unclean on inside and outside, food storage drawers below grill not shutting completely, Hobart dough mixing machine unclean, no sanitizer used in wiping cloth buckets, shield unclean inside big ice machine and beverage wand nozzle unclean in outdoor bar.

EZ Mart at 3066 Ashgrove Rd. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 5, 2017 and scored 96 for food service and 97 for retail service. Notes: violations corrected from inspection on Sept. 28, 2017.

Connemara Golf Course at 2327 Lexington Rd. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 5, 2017 and scored 96. Notes: ice machine unclean on the inside, cooler doors and handles unclean, no towels at kitchen hand sink, no soap in men’s restroom and floor in kitchen unclean under and behind equipment.

Subway at 256 E. Brannon Rd. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 5, 2017 and scored 98. Notes: towel dispenser broken at kitchen hand sink.

Subway at 135 Orchard Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 9, 2017 and scored 99. Notes: floor under proofer and bread cabinet in need of more frequent cleaning.

Triple R Mini Mart at 740 Richmond Ave. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 9, 2017 and scored 97. Notes: salt and pepper containers should be food grade material and store utensils with handles up and serving side down (corrected during inspection).

Papa John’s at 935 N. Main St. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 9, 2017 and scored 92. Notes: cleaning chemicals must be labeled, brooms shall be hung when not in use, women’s restroom needs covered trash cans and working on roof leak from hurricane rain. Follow-up inspection took place that day and scored 96. Notes: cleaning chemicals are now labeled.

Minit Mart at 634 Edgewood Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 12, 2017 and scored 95 for food service and 98 for retail food. Notes: thermometers not located in prep coolers, storage shelves unclean under front counter and dumpster lids open.

Tates Creek Mini Mart at 301 Ethyl Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 12, 2017 and scored 95 for food service and 93 for retail food. Notes: thermometers not located in freezers and coolers, sanitizer test strips not located, freezers and coolers unclean on interior, storage shelves unclean, interior of ice machine unclean, numerous retail food items with expired date and floor in poor condition in retail area. Follow-up inspection that day not scored. Notes: expired food removed from shelves and plumbing work in progress in restroom and mop sink area.

Big Apple at 200 Wilson Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 12, 2017 and scored 89 for food service and 99 for retail. Notes: chicken breading bag stored on floor, no sanitizer test strips, food storage shelves unclean, coolers and freezers unclean on interior, water leak at water heater, floor unclean under and around equipment, chemicals stored next to and above food-related items and hand sink not draining properly. Follow-up inspection that day scored a 93 for food service. Notes: chemicals moved away from food-related items.

Nana’s Play and Learn Village at 104 Mint Ln. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 13, 2017 and scored 96. Notes: hang brooms when not in use and use hair restraint in the kitchen.

Starbucks #10638 at 123 Bryant Ave. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 13, 2017 and scored 100.

Gumbo Ya-Ya at 294 E. Brannon Rd. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 13, 2017 and scored 92 for food service and 97 for retail food. Notes: Food temperatures on hot bar must be 130 degrees – food loop recommended, pasta out of temperature on counter (pasta will be discarded), ice scoop and container left in ice, shelves and containers in rear of kitchen dirty and food manager card needed.

Arby’s at 402 S. Main St. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 16, 2017 and scored 99. Notes: ice build-up from condensation in walk-in freezer.

West Jessamine Middle School field concession house was inspected on Oct. 16, 2017 and scored 100.

Jimmy John’s at 113 Bryant Ave. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 16, 2017 and scored 90. Notes: stored food products not labeled with expiration date, cooling service bar stored open with food too high in some compartments – ham and sprouts – with poor temperatures on top, pop nozzles dirty, sanitary receptacles needed in female restroom and floor by ice machine dirty and pooling water.

Firehouse Subs at 455 Keene Centre Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 17, 2017 and scored 98. Notes: cracks in measuring cups, walk-in cooler dripping water from ceiling, spouts on ice and water machine in need of cleaning and dumpster area in need of cleaning.

China King at 991 S. Main St. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 18, 2017 and scored 92. Notes: food trays stored on floor in boxes, no soap in one restroom, dumpster overflowing with trash, foods stored uncovered in cooler, bowls with no handle used to scoop and dip food and exterior of food containers unclean.

Academy of Little Learners at 812 Wilmore Rd. Ste. 600 in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 18, 2017 and scored 99. Notes: tupperware in poor condition should be thrown away and consider getting food-grade containers.

Velvet Touch Catering at 118 Greenwood Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 19, 2017 and scored 100.

Dairy Queen at 900 S. Main St. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 19 2017 and scored 96. Corman’s Cafeteria at 101 RJ Corman Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 19, 2017 and scored 100.

Lone Oak Golf Course at 44 Club Lane in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 24, 2017 and scored 97. Notes: freezer needs to be thawed, clean other appliances as needed, floors by equipment dirty, walls dirty behind dishwasher and ceiling tiles dirty.

Jessamine County Fast Pitch in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 23, 2017 and scored 96. Notes: hang brooms or store upside down, defrost freezers and clean microwave.

The Bistro at 502 N. Main St. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 24, 2017 and scored 97. Notes: light shields needed and hang brooms when not in use.

Holiday Inn at 164 Imperial Way in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 25, 2017 and scored 100.

Raising Canes at 551 Keene Centre Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 26, 2017 and scored 97. Notes: faucet loose on sink, water dripping from faucet at bird sink, trash push carts need lids, carts are unclean and dumpster side door open.

Giovanni’s at 851 N. Main St. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 26, 2017 and scored 96. Notes: food stored uncovered in walk-in cooler (ham and brownies) and faucet handle in poor condition on three-compartment sink.

Nicholasville Elementary at 414 W. Maple St. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 26, 2017 and scored 100.

— Panera #974 at 101 Cynthia Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 26, 2017 and scored 91. Notes: food temperature on cold bar 45 degrees to 47 degrees and dishwasher not dispensing sanitizer.

Domino’s at 800 S. Main St. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 26, 2017 and wasn’t scored. Notes: Health Dept. received a complaint about roaches; gaps in closed doors noted, all doors need to be able to shut completely with no light shining through.

Movie Tavern at 150 Langley Dr. in Nicholasville was inspected on Oct. 27, 2017 and scored 96. Notes: light bulbs in working condition needed in walk-in freezer and a refrigerator, dumpster door open, vents unclean and wipe surfaces inside ice machine.
