The Heartland Academy had its second annual Art Show on Oct. 13 at the blue building at City County Park, and it was a great success.

Various art pieces were on exhibit and for sale that were created by classes ranging from nursery to the after-school classes. In additions, some local artists had their art on display as well.

Heartland Academy is all about giving back and it community, so a raffle and silent auction took place with the prizes coming from the many local vendors in and around Jessamine County.

The proceeds from these events went to the Nicholasville Fire Fighter Toy Drive.

Little Miss Jessamine County, Madi Embry, and representatives from the fire department were on board to collect toys for the drive and support Heartland Academy’s Art Show.
